SAN MARCOS, Calif.; Oct. 10, 2005 -- The San Diego North Economic Development Council together with Critical Infrastructure Solutions of Murrieta and other regional security technology developers and service providers has formed SafeNet International, a non-profit organization to accelerate the economic opportunities for the emerging security technologies industry sector in Southern California through education, awareness and networking. SafeNet and the San Diego North EDC will host a Security & Emerging Technologies Expo November 17 featuring displays by the region’s cutting-edge securities technology developers, designers, integrators and services providers as well as presentations by Supervisor Bill Horn and Director of Homeland Security for the City of San Diego Augie Ghio.

The San Diego North Economic Development Council launches its updated website at www.sandiegonorthedc.org

SAN MARCOS , Calif.; Sept. 22, 2005 – The San Diego North Economic Development Council has launched an updated website as a resource for businesses locating or expanding in North San Diego County as well as those seeking a regional forum for improving business conditions and quality of life for their employees.

The new website at www.sandiegonorthedc.org features simple navigation to make this information easier to find, improved event and meeting calendars to encourage participation, an additional community involvement section and access to the EDC monthly newsletter.

Photos used on the site feature many of North County's recognizable natural and economic assets with the overall color palette tied into the organization's logo.
